Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
Every week during Sunday Mass, children ages 3 - 8 years old participate in their own liturgy instructed by a trained parishioner. The small dining room adjacent to the Community Room and Church is close enough to the Mass to allow for comfort of the children and parents (grandparents). If interested in how to become a CLOW instructor, call the parish office.
Elementary Religious Education
Elementary Religious Education for Sacred Heart of Jesus parish is designed for all children attending a public school in grades K5 – 6. It is a collaborative program among South Shore Catholic Community Parishes. The combination of all six parishes comprise the Southeast Catholic Religious Formation program available to those families. Classes are held on designated Sunday mornings 9:00 am – 11:30 am at St. Veronica Parish, which includes attendance at the morning Liturgy. While most sessions are for only the students, we also include parents through various activities. For more information or questions, please contact Karen Bushman, Director of Southeast Catholic Religious Formation, at (414) 481-0777 ext.117 or visit southeastcatholic.org.
